1909 Capital losses

Posted by Editor
Friday 5 February 1909

No-one at Dublin-London game at throw-in.

Capital losses

A couple of high-profile games were hit by poor attendances in 1909. There were just 380 at the Ulster final between Antrim and Cavan, which the Saffrons won. Then, astonishingly, there was not one person in attendance at throw-in time for the Dublin-London quarter-final. Eventually, 200 showed up as the torrential rain eased.
